At Gunn Chevrolet, we proudly sell a range of great used vehicles alongside our selection of new Chevrolet cars, trucks, and SUVs. And just like the new vehicles we sell, we stand by our pre-owned cars with a great used vehicle limited warranty.

Most of the pre-owned vehicles we sell are covered by a complete three month, 3,000 mile warranty. After you’ve purchased, you’ll receive a copy of the warranty on paper noting the covered components and the vehicle’s mileage upon purchase

What the Gunn Chevrolet Used Vehicle Warranty Covers

• Engine Components: Practically every component in your used vehicle’s engine is covered by the Gunn Chevrolet Used Vehicle Limited Warranty. That includes valves, belts, crankshaft, bearings, oil pump, sensors, fuel pumps, and more.
• Transmission: Whether automatic or manual, your used vehicle’s transmission is covered by the warranty. Gears, mounts, seals, gaskets, shifters, bands--anything but the transmission case, which is covered only if damaged by another internally lubricated part.
• Drive Axle: The drive axle that pulls your car forward is also covered, including all internally lubricated parts, axle shafts, differential cover, universal joints and yokes, and more.
• Four-wheel Drive: If your used car has a four-wheel drive system, all components are covered by our Gunn Used Vehicle Limited Warranty up to 3,000 miles after purchase.
• Brakes: Of course your braking system is also covered by our limited warranty! Rotors, calipers, sensors, master cylinder, and beyond.
• Cooling system: The components that keep your engine operating at an acceptable temperature, like the radiator fan, fan clutch and motor, fuel tank, fuel sending unit and fuel lines.
• Air Conditioning: To keep you cool in the San Antonio heat, the warranty also covers AC components like the compressor, compressor seals, compressor clutch, clutch bearing, receiver-drier, condenser, evaporator, accumulator, pulleys, and seals.
• Electrical System and Internal Components: From the ignition system to power locks to the internal stereo, factory-installed electrical components are covered by the limited warranty (after-market additions like custom stereos are not).

What the Gunn Chevrolet Used Vehicle Warranty Doesn’t Cover

The Gunn Chevrolet Used Vehicle Limited Warranty does not apply to components damaged wholly, partially, directly, or indirectly by collision, tampering, weather, or misuse. It applies only to unexpected mechanical failures, and not to vehicular abuse or attempted theft (for example). Alterations to the vehicle can also void aspects of the warranty, so if you’re planning significant customization, do it after the three months or 3,000 miles have run out!
