I saw a deal on the Gunn Chevy's website so I made a trip to the showroom. I was met by a salesman as I exited my truck, told him what I wanted, we drove to an off showroom location to pick up the vehicle and we returned and did the paperwork. My wife and I returned two days later to finish the paperwork and pay for the car. Could not have been easier.

It was a pleasant experience, Brandon was great, knowledgable and helpful. Finance was also great and fast. Thanks for making this experience positive!

Friendly staff, waiting time was what they said, would have given a 5 Stars but after I paid, my truck was parked and as I opened the door the plastic seat cover and paper floor mat was still in the truck. I’m sure the tech forgot because it was busy.

Had to have engine replaced on my 2017 Chevy Suburban with 80,000 miles on it. Extended warranty had just expired the month prior. Gunn was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Excellent service as usual!

Fixed my vehicle under warranty, however there were no loaner vehicles so I had to spend almost $500 dollars on a rental. I expected less issues out of a truck that only has 9,000 miles on it. I’m not confident that I made a good purchase.

Service was ok Daniel the sales rep is great as always .....however ...we were treated less than by the sales manager who refused to come engage with us on our possible trade in and new purchase inquiry. He gave an unresearched value for our vehicle w/o looking @ it. Purchased our 2023 Equinox from Gunn however will not purchase our Traverse from there...will be taking our business to a competing dealership unfortunately

Quick easy

I asked if they drove the truck and put miles on it before I came to pick it up and they said yes. When I drove down to pick it up I got 15 min heading back north for my check engine light to come back on this is the third time this has happend I turned around and they looked it over and it was a bad wiring harness for the parts they just replaced. I feel if they had test drove it they would have found this and not have me wast yet another day waiting at the dealership when it wad supposed to be fixed and ready for me to not have to make a u turn and wast my work day

We had an appointment at 12:15 and when got there was told it would be about an hour however it took almost 3 hours which is unacceptable for an oil change and tire rotation. In addition we asked to check on an open ticket for a mysterious rattle that you all opened with GM and haven’t heard anything and they didn’t give us any updates on this. Not the typical service we are used to.

I had been attempting to purchase a vehicle for several at other dealerships, only to get thousands of dollars in "dealer charges" added to the deal after it was negotiated. I was on my wat to San Antonio, from Austin to purchase a different truck at another dealer, but was uneasy about the dealer. I called Gunn on the drive to price a truck on the lot and see if I would be charged anything over what it was advertised for. We stopped into Gunn around 10:15 Saturday morning and drove out around noon very happy with new truck and the deal Gunn made us. Justin Arteaga, Tommy Thompson and Gunn Chevrolet restored my faith in car dealers.

This the second truck from Gunn that had to brought into the shop for major repairs in less than 2 years on wash. The 1st was in and out the service department for over a year a could not be repaired. The fuel injectors were replaced in my 2023. I have had it back for 5 days and it is leaking diesel all down the engine bay, pushing fumes into the cab, and leaving puddles everywhere I park. No loner vehicle was provided as they are always “short on loners” They first attempted to tell me I need to pay over $2300 to have the injectors replaced and my truck has just over 40,000 miles. I discourage anyone from doing business with Gunn.

I had a nail in tire, they patched tire. Next day tire lost air, I went back, they replaced valve stem. They charged me for all of this. After I left that same day I had a blow out on that same tire. Very scary I had my grandkids and was in heavy traffic, it damaged my car. I felt it was something they did, the tire and car was new, just bought new car 12 days ago. They claim they check everything before I leave, no the air on other 3 tires was also low and they never filled them. Had to pay 200.00 for new tire. I also paid 35.00 the day before for fixing tire, which blew up, air kept leaking out. I wasted 2 days messing with this. This was a brand new tire and I just bought new 2025, 12 days later.

Everything was good. The only complaint I have is that you cannot use a discount coupon and your reward point at the same time. The last work I had done I had a $100.00 service coupon and once I use my 142.00 dollars in rewards points. It took off the $100.00 discount. I would not have used my points if I had known that. The Total bill was 9085.00 dollars and just wanted to save some. If it didn't remove the $100.00 discount it would have been 8985.00 which is still a lot but it helps me.

Sales rep did fine. It would have been good to have him or her introduce us to the service department, explain how to get an appt w/service, what to expect, etc. We didn't even see the service department. Also would have been nice to have someone in mgt. at least comment on our purchase, congrats, etc.

I was told by my salesman that my first oil change was free however I was charge for the service. I told the service advisor that my key fob does not always work. His recommendation was for me to change the battery in the fob. I informed him that i jad change the battery three times. I am still having the same issue. I would not be able to recommend anyone to Gunn because of my unresolved issues.

The 40 way oil I needed for the truck. You also did not do the tire rotation did not offer to break off and put new lug nuts on and do the tire rotation as required for the first warranty. I had to ask for everything I had to pay for four new Lugnuts and now I have to come back a second time to have the tires rotated and a second time to get the 40 white oil totally unacceptable as a dealer that you have no awareness of all the GM Recall Specifications that you should be doing. All other dealers are responding quickly. Do not get why you guys have no plan of action.

When I arrived at the recommended time of 1p on Wednesday and was told that i would be 1hr and fifteen to 1.5 hrs. Ended up being just over 2 hrs, which was acceptable, but it sure did take an extra bit of time to check out. Service was good, staff was good, all was basically good.

This is the second time I have bought from Gunn. The experience is wonderful, no stress, and everyone is very professional. Ben handled my purchase and Kinnith worked my financing and we're both consummate professionals.

Our salesman, Ben was a nice guy and note pushy! He scored extra points because his dog is named Luna like ours. I would have given 5 stars, but our finance guy made some significant errors and was shocked when he asked if I would rather pay $100 for a warranty deductible or $0 and I said $0. He said, "it is only $100!" He needs to slow down and not try to rush since that is why he was making mistakes with our money!

Best in the business, after a lot of searching I felt Gunn was the only honest dealership in South Texas.

When you pull and wait for a little for someone to come up to help you. But they decide to continue to sit and not acknowledge you. So you walk into the service building tell them you need an oil change and tire rotation. As well as mention you have a coupon for this. Then ask if they still do the complimentary car wash get told yes. Then ask if they could do that as well and hear that shouldn’t be a problem. Notify them that I will not be waiting to call when it’s ready for pick up. When I go to pick up the car came up completely dirty, there was no communication or marked anything in the notes that I have a coupon for the services done. I have waited days to see if someone was going to reach out since when I took my vehicle back I brought up concerns and I was told it would be brought to my advisor attention. No one has reached out. The customer service is going way downhill. I just want to feel like I’m a valued customer who is listened too. It’s also funny on how past oil changes it’s been brought to my attention on what other services is recommended and this time nothing.

Daniel Evans was great as usual. This is the 3rd car we bought from Gunn because of him.

Booked an appointment online for a basic oil change and tire rotation. Called ahead before showing up and the representative said “we’ve been having issues with that system”. Pulled up at 10:30 and my initial service wasn’t complete until 1:30. Then they said there was recommended work to be completed that would take longer. Why wouldn”t they ask me before completing the original work rather than waiting until check out to say there was more work needed/recommendations). None of the service techs knew the WiFi and there were no signs posted in the waiting area. After asking 3 different personal and one stating/a salesperson , “I don’t need WiFi I have At&T”. I was referred to a receptionist at the front desk. Total time spent, 3.5-4 hours, service reps were nice but customer procedures need work, probably should have WiFi listed in waiting area and your website should state wether it’s working rather than waisting peoples time.

Took my truck on for a issue and Charles took care of my problem with the truck will be going back to see him in the future for my truck maintenance

Went in at 7:30am to get an oil change in the express service lane. I was told I would be the second car in line. After about an hour and a half, I noticed my vehicle was moved up so I inquired if it was ready and was told I was the next car. The excuse was that a tech did not come in. I still don't understand. Then it took 18 minutes to do my oil change and give me my vehicle. So it was about 2 hours overall when I was supposedly the second car in line. Did they push my vehicle back in line, what happened?

When I dropped my car off I requested if additional costs were to be added to call my husband. My husband nor myself never received a call but additional costs were added on top of the 30,000 miles. When I dropped it off, the guy said we tend to recommend new filters at 30,000. To me that meant that it was included in the cost of the 30,000 miles. We additionally did not receive a call when the car was ready.

All services were good except the brake monitor on the dashboard was not reset. I am unable to do it because the options are grayed out

I brought my truck in on Monday mid-morning (6/2/25). I checked in with Charles Clark. We discussed the issues with the front parking assist not working and reoccurring error message “Park Assist – Clean Sensor”. It turned out this was a challenging issue, but Charles & technician Stephan Scutt stuck with it, figured out the issues, & resolved the failure.

I loved how quick and attentive they were. You could tell that they were really busy but they were on top of it.

All in all a good experience. A little lengthy but I enjoy looking at new vehicles and speaking with a few of the friendly salespeople and customers. Was told I needed both air filters. History shows I still have 47% use. However I would have changed them both if they weren’t so expensive at the dealership. Too expensive as owners can buy a quality engine filter for $30.00 and $25.00 for a cabin filter at O’Reilly’s and they install for free. I did agree to a wheel alignment that maybe I shouldn’t have since I couldn’t see any significant abnormality wear on my tires but I did agree. Next time I will get a second opinion. All in all I do believe Chris G. was very polite and professionally helpful and took great care of me and my vehicle. I do have suggestions that may help both your business and the customers as well. Have a great summer!

Incredible experience, unlike any other dealer I’ve been to with over 12 cars purchased in my lifetime. My salesman Aaron was kind, patient and answered any questions I had on the truck (and services) with confidence. He followed up multiple times post purchase to ensure all was well and my add ons were scheduled and on track to be completed. My finance manager, Salvador, was incredible as well - he was very helpful and created a no pressure sales environment. While I hopefully don’t need another vehicle soon, I wouldn’t hesitate to go straight back to Gunn Chevrolet!

I went in 2 days prior to purchasing my new vehicle just look around and sit in a few cars to "try them on". My salesman, Mr. Ruiz, knew I was not going to purchase anything that day and that I just needed to have something to think about, but he was very attentive even knowing that. The day we went back for the actual purchase, he remembered the makes and models of the cars I was interested in and even made a few recommendation. We took his recommendations and ended up purchasing a 2025 Chey Colorado. He worked with our trade in and discounts and we walked out with a better deal than we had ever envisioned. This is the 3rd vehicle we have purchased from Gunn Chevrolet and it won't be the last.

Lloyd Fisher was the salesman that worked with us. Great experience, very knowledgeable, patient, felt that the focus was on what we wanted/needed, and not trying to close a deal. Felt no pressure and felt supported. Had a few things come up on our end and didn’t feel any additional pressure from the team. Would definitely buy another vehicle from Gunn Chevy and would ask for Lloyd Fisher. We shopped a lot for the truck we wanted, and Gunn offered the best deal!

My vehicle was there for over two weeks due to dry rot on the sunroof and the front bumper not aligned. When I was finally able to pick up my vehicle the sunroof was fixed but by the time I got home the front bumper was sticking out again. They didn’t fix the bumper at all. I called back immediately and spoke to Frank and he told me he would come get my car and bring me a loner so they could fix the bumper it’s been three weeks and I’m still waiting for that. This is absolutely ridiculous and I would like my car fixed asap.

It was an extremely easy process with excellent communication.

To be honest, we stopped at Gunn Chevrolet because it was the closest Chevrolet dealership to our home, and we wanted to look at a Chevrolet Colorado. The experience with Gunn Chevrolet made me very happy that we live where we live. We were met at the door by Roger Juarez, who immediately set about making us feel comfortable and helping us in any way he could. Rodger was very friendly, knowledgeable, and did not pressure us in any way. He showed us the vehicle which we ended up purchasing, and once that purchase was completed took the time to mount the license plate on the vehicle and to walk us through the controls such as unlocking the door with or without the key, the temperature controls, the display and everything that goes along with it, and even something as simple as how to open and close the storage compartment in the tailgate. Roger was very personable, very friendly, very knowledgeable about the vehicle, but the best thing about him again was the fact that he did not try to pressure us in any way. There was no trickery involved in his presentation. He was straightforward and I honestly feel had we decided not to purchase the vehicle; he would have been every bit as friendly and helpful as he was. I told Roger that and all the years I've lived in San Antonio, I've never heard anything bad about Gunn Chevrolet. Based upon my experience, no one will hear anything bad about Gunn Chevrolet from me. My wife and I were discussing our experience a few moments ago and decided that if and when we by our next vehicle, we know where we're going to go.

I paid $3500 to replace a $160 fuel injector and a front and rear brake job. I think your rates for these services are excessive knowing the cost of rotors and brake pads. I will shop my repair work around for future work.

My salesman listened to what I wanted in going from a Stingray to an ERay. I did trade in a perfect low mileage Stingray and had to let sales manager the low ball offer would not work, this was a want not a need. He reviewed what I did ask for on trade in and came close to what I thought trade was worth. So we did the deal, finance for us was easy with RFBCU and I look daily to ensure our 2022 loan with RFBCU is paid off with the check I took to the finance department. The process overall was smooth with the only part is the game I do at any dealership on my trade in, so not just a game GUNN plays. On delivery day was in and out upon leaving the payoff for the 2022 Stingray. My salesman had my ERay ready for delivery.

Every person at the dealership was very professional and helpful. I highly enjoyed my experience buying my new Tahoe!

Was at Gunn Service waiting for my car from 8:38 am to past 12:00 and all it needed was a battery charge,, then they tell me theirs a recall on something. The express service advisor tech was nice and for that I maintained my composer when I view people before and after me got their cars. Again if it wasn’t for Chris G. and the free car wash I wouldn’t have rated this visit.

The service writer Charles Clark was very knowledgeable about vehicles ( my Tahoe) and kept me informed about their findings and repair progress. My Tahoe was losing AC refrigerant from an odd, but known, leak in the evaporator assembly. Charles explained they had seen this before and what the fix was. He kept me up to date and the vehicle was repaired and tested quicker than expected. I have always been a bit leery about the service process but Charles has made me a believer. I will seek him out for any future issues. The repair technician did a great job and the Tahoe was as good as new again.

The first day they couldn't to my vehicle in time. So I took it and told them I would return. I brought back the next day and they were able to get it done plus I got a courtesy car was. The advisor did his job.

I came in to speak to the Service Manager about a serious engine issue I had with my 2016 Tahoe. I explained the problem and he quickly came up with a viable solution at an affordable price. I brought the car in and gave the service department the time they needed to some extensive engine work. At the end, the motor performed flawlessly at the agreed price. Kudos to Jeff and his crew at Gunn Chevy service. They did a great job.

Prior to coming in for my complimentary service I inquired if I needed an appointment. I was told i did not and to just show up. Best bet was first thing in the morning, and the oil change and tire rotation service would take about an hour. It was about two hours. There wasn't anyone readily available for updates. Finally i walked out to see if i could find some answers. My truck was parked in the ready spots, but no one had let me know. The service guys were mostly sitting around. I felt like i was interrupting them. The service drive area was congested and vehicles were parked in a disorganized manner. Additional wait time was needed just to leave the facility. Experience at Gunn has gone down over the years.

Gunn Chevy did the best they could under the circumstances. I have no issues with them. GM needs to do better. I dropped off my truck on 12/14/24 and picked it up on 7/30/25. Yes, it took 7 1/2 months to get a transmission from GM.

I wanted to give a 1-star rating but I could not bring myself to leave a negative review on MY salesman because of a bad experience with a finance manager. My family’s experience with our salesman, Richard, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free, and we are truly grateful for his professionalism and kindness. The dealership mostly was good to us, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, our dealings with Kinneth Dudley, the finance manager, was the complete opposite. What should have been a proud and joyful milestone—my daughter’s very first car purchase—turned into a frustrating and upsetting ordeal. Mr. Dudley was rude, dismissive, unprofessional and darn near unethical. Mr. Dudley's unprofessionalism ruined the excitement of this purchase. While to some a car purchase may not be a big deal but for us as parents it was. We were excited to see my daughters hard work pay-off. It is disheartening that such an important family moment was overshadowed by his behavior, especially when every other part of the dealership has been nothing but positive. Thank you, Richard, for your time and patience it is truly appreciated.

It was a quick and fast service provided. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

I was first in the Express Service line. I think this line is a great idea. The service writer was courteous. I had my second oil change and tire rotation on my new Tahoe. There was a steering alignment service suggested by GM that I accepted. I waited in the excellent waiting room with coffee and the entire service took about an hour and half for a very reasonable price.

We called gunn dealership and ask for Chris Gutierrez, in the service department. We were having trouble with our headlight not functioning right. Chris was very polite, attentive and understanding with us. He went out of his way to solve the issue that we were having with our traverse. We are very please to have had Chris help us out. Continue doing an excellence job with all your customers and you will go far.

Service writer was friendly but it always takes So long to get an oil change. This one took 4 hours.

Timely check-in of vehicle, but repair estimate didn’t match the original repair estimate—the estimated cost was nearly $150.00 more than the original quote for the same repair. Shuttle service to my place of employment was available and timely, but it proved to be ineffective as the dealership does not provide shuttle service after 3 pm to pickup your vehicle.

I don’t understand why Chevy sends out coupons that do not pertain to the vehicle you bought. I do appreciate that you did honor the coupon though, but I had to dispute it.

Every thing went well

Amazing from start to finish!

I always brought my traverse to Gunn service dept to get my oil changed on schedule for the entire time I have owned the car( bought it at Gunn Chevrolet as well as past cars) my last visit was in March and they changed the oil and did a full check and said everything was perfect . This time after they changed the oil they gave me a full list of needed repairs including one related to the oil pan etc that would cost 5,600 to fix … needed overhaul of the brakes( said the brake pads had only 1 mm left on it) so the total for all the repairs was over 7,000!! I was shocked especially because I had just been in in March and “everything looked great”??? They said if they had seen the oil problem in March it would have been under factory warranty - from fixing the same big problem when my vehicle was at 55,000 miles…needless to say I am a retired teacher and those expensive repairs would be a huge hardship. I had to buy a new car - chose to buy from Gunn Chevrolet in spite of my experience in your service dept but I can promise you I will NEVER allow your service dept to work on my car I will give that business to another Chevrolet service dept
